The Sidewinder is AGM's premium handheld observational thermal monocular series. All models come equipped with either a 384×288 twelve micron infrared detector and a 1024×768 OLED display for improved color rendering. The Sidewinder thermal sensors also come equipped with the Most sensitive temperature ratings in its class coming in at sub-20 millikelvin across the entire product family. Other improvements over the Taipan monoculars include a more robust body/housing and a removable rechargeable 18650 battery. These units also boast an impressive waterproof rating which ensures users have peace of mind while utilizing these under the vast majority of weather conditions.
