There are a variety of ways to clean a suppressor based on the construction. Some suppressors can be disassembled but many cannot. Breakthrough Clean Technologies® Suppressor Cleaner has been refined using modern chemistry to tackle this difficult task. It has been rigorously tested by Breakthrough Clean Technologies® and suppressor manufacturers with impressive results. The recommended cleaning process is submersion in the Suppressor Cleaner. The duration needed depends on the cleanliness of the suppressor. If you are cleaning on a regular schedule that coincides with the cleaning of the firearm it could be leaving the suppressor in the cleaner for as little as one hour. However if cleaning the suppressor after multiple significant shooting sessions it may require soaking for 8-12 hours to get the caked on contaminates to release.
